SafeWork NSW is se eking exp erienced and motivated professionals to join SafeWork NSW as an Assistant State Inspector. About the role: We have multiple roles available in the following areas: Psychosocial Return to Work Investigations As a Ps y chosocial focused Assistant State Inspector, you will play a critical role in improving psychological health and safety across NSW workplaces. You’ll lead inspections, investigations, and interventions focused on psychosocial risk management, including issues such as workplace stress, bullying, and harassment. As a R eturn to Work focused Assistant State Inspector, you will focus on improving outcomes for injured workers by ensuring workplaces meet their rehabilitation and recovery obligations. Your work will involve inspections, education, and compliance activities aimed at supporting safe and sustainable return to work practices. In the Investigations team, your responsibilities as an Assistant State Inspector include conducting complex investigations, gathering evidence, and applying transparent decision-making to enforce compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills and resilience, as you’ll respond to critical incidents, undertake investigation of matters through to escalate compliance and enforcement outcomes and work collaboratively with other regulators to improve safety outcomes.
