About the Role
The Senior Business Growth Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across corporate, social, and special event segments.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and contract new business opportunities through strategic partnerships and proactive outreach.
* Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through site visits, networking, and industry events.
* Build strong relationships with event agencies, PCOs, wedding planners, and key decision-makers.
* Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Manager to develop campaigns targeting key market segments.
Client Relationship Management
* Act as the main point of contact for key accounts and high-value clients.
* Deliver a seamless client experience from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up.
* Host site inspections and familiarisation events to showcase the venue and service offerings.
* Monitor client satisfaction and implement strategies to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Strategy & Reporting
* Assist in setting and achieving sales targets for function and event revenue.
* Track and report on sales performance, lead conversion rates, and market trends.
* Maintain accurate records of leads, bookings, and communications.
Requirements
Essential:
* 2+ years' experience in business development, sales, or event management within hospitality, venues, or tourism.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
* High level of initiative, accountability, and customer service focus.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of local corporate, tourism, or wedding markets.
* Experience in hotel, winery, or premium function venue environments.
