Position Profile: We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic candidates for the role of Consultant - Paediatric - Respiratory and Sleep Medicine.
Located at Perth Children's Hospital, you will provide specialist respiratory and/or sleep medicine services to inpatients and outpatients. You will promote patient quality and safety and provides leadership, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training and other health workers in collaboration with other Consultants and the Clinical Director/Head of Department.
About Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH): is Western Australia's specialist paediatric hospital and trauma centre, with 298 beds. Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre, PCH offers primary care for severe medical cases and secondary services such as inpatient, outpatient, and day-stay care. These services are provided in the community across the Perth metropolitan area at community health centres, in schools, home visits and through telehealth appointments. Services focus on child health, growth and development, behaviour, immunisation and supporting families.
The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is proud to be the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia, as the State’s only dedicated health service for infants, children and young people. CAHS is made up four service areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH). Consisting of over 6,500 employees, our services are delivered at PCH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), as well as across a network of more than 160 community clinics across the metropolitan area.
