Position Overview: As a Depot Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our depot.
We are looking for an experienced professional who excels in KPI management, DIFOT (Delivered In Full, On Time) management, and logistics management.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our depot to meet the needs of our customers and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve depot performance.
Monitor and optimize DIFOT (Delivered In Full, On Time) to ensure customer satisfaction.
Supervise and lead a team of dedicated staff, ensuring a positive work environment and effective communication.
Develop and implement strategies to streamline logistics operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
Oversee inventory management and control to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize wastage.
Collaborate with other departments, including sales and procurement, to meet customer demands and maintain excellent service levels.
Manage health and safety procedures and regulations within the depot.
Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in KPI management, DIFOT management, and logistics management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.
A solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
