DIESEL MECHANICS or FITTERS - BDS ROMA
We currently have permanent positions available for Diesel Mechanics or Fitters to join our team in Roma. This is a full-time position and a perfect opportunity to join a large, secure, reputable company.

With 22 branches across Queensland and a fleet of over 160 field service units, we provide reliable coverage across more than 600,000 km² throughout Queensland and Western Australia. The successful candidates will possess the following:
Relevant Trade Qualification
Diagnostic experience
Good communication skills
Experience on trucks and trailers
Heavy earthmoving experience a bonus
Strong fault finding skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Truck license preferred
Extra skills, experience, tickets and licenses will be advantageous
Your duties will include:
Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
General Repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4×4’s
Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
Checking vehicle lighting systems
Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
