About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join the operations and maintenance team at the Glenellen Solar Farm. This is a hands-on role working across key electrical infrastructure, supporting the safe and efficient operation of a large-scale energy project. You will work closely with engineering, asset management, and a 24/7 control room to deliver high-quality maintenance and fault response. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain electrical infrastructure including transformers, switchgear, cabling, and substations (BOP plant) Maintenance and fault finding on inverters and associated systems Monitor and respond to alarms via SCADA systems Plan and execute preventative and corrective maintenance tasks Support subcontractors and assist with site coordination, inductions, and pre-start meetings Maintain accurate records using CMMS and internal systems Ensure strict adherence to WHS policies and procedures About You Electrical Licence (unrestricted) HV Switching qualification (essential) Strong experience in maintenance, fault finding, and troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Experience with SCADA / data communications (desirable) Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work both independently and in a team Willingness to work in a regional / site-based environment What’s on Offer Permanent, long-term role on a utility-scale energy project Structured support within a skilled team environment Competitive salary package including: Superannuation On-call allowances Overtime rates Quarterly bonus Apply Now If you are an experienced electrician looking to grow within the energy sector, apply now or send your CV directly to Danielj@prprojects.com.au .
