Join Portland District Health as a Graduate Enrolled Nurse in a fixed-term, part-time role supporting patient-centred care in a multidisciplinary team.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering excellent, person-centred care to patients and their families using contemporary standards and evidence-based practice
* Working as a vital member of the multidisciplinary health care team
* Participating in a 6-month transition program with 3 months in aged care and 3 months in sub-acute environments
* Applying clinical skills safely and effectively under supervision
* Engaging with patients, relatives, and colleagues guided by organisational policies and values
* Identifying opportunities to improve the quality of patient care
About You
The company is looking for:
* Successful completion of a Diploma of Nursing
* Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
* Willingness to learn from others and contribute to a positive team environment
* Ability to apply clinical skills safely and effectively under supervision
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams
* Ability to build rapport and maintain respectful relationships with consumers and colleagues

Training & Development
The enrolled nurse graduate program provides ongoing training, development, and support in a structured environment to transition from student to nurse.
