VESI / ESI Worker – Casual (Pathway to Full-Time)

SMACKA PTY LTD is expanding across both the communications and power sectors, and we’re looking for a VESI-accredited worker to join the team.
About the Role
You’ll be working across power and telecommunications infrastructure projects, including:
* Pole-to-pit installations (power sector)
* Pit & pipe, conduit install, and reinstatement (communications)
* Boring (Grundomat)
* Trenching, cable hauling, and civil works
* Working alongside major delivery partners across the Communications and Power Sector
This is hands-on work in live service environments
Mandatory Requirements
* VESI / ESI Accreditation – REQUIRED
* White Card
* Driver’s Licence (non-negotiable)
* Some experience in civil / utilities / infrastructure works (no experience is negotiable if worker has VESI tickets)
* Ability to work safely within strict procedures and permits
What We’re Actually Looking For
* Someone who has VESI ticket, with some experience on site, you will be working directly with the Director Day to Day.
Highly Regarded
* Experience in pole-to-pit or electrical distribution works
* Background in telecommunications (pit & pipe / hauling)
* Plant tickets (excavator etc.)
* Traffic management
* MR Truck License

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $26.16 – $42.26 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
