We are looking for a motivated and reliable
Street Sweeper
to join our City Infrastructure team.
This role is more than just operating machinery; it's about contributing to the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of our city. You'll be responsible for operating Council's Street sweeper truck across a variety of locations, including tight corridors and areas with overhead utilities, supporting the maintenance of road and drainage infrastructure.
This role requires working the afternoon shift *****am to 8pm.

Operate our street sweeper truck across diverse locations, including tight road corridors and areas with overhead utilities.
Work independently to deliver high-quality sweeping services that support road and drainage infrastructure.
Champion environmental best practices while keeping our city beautiful.
Mentor others and share your expertise in street sweeping operations.

LET'S HEAR ABOUT YOU
You're someone who takes pride in your work and loves being out and about. You bring:
Experience operating a suction street sweeper or similar equipment.
A current MR Driver's Licence.
Confidence working independently and solving problems on the go.
Strong literacy and numeracy skills to support workplace learning.
A reliable, enthusiastic attitude and excellent customer service.
Basic mechanical skills (e.g. greasing, checking oil/coolant, changing broom).
Willingness to learn and use field technology.
