About The Role
We're all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As an Insurance and Underwriting Officer, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional member experiences through the accurate and timely completion of insurance requests within Product and Services.
These requests include changes to default insurance cover, insurance enquiries, tailored insurance cover updates, corporate insurance updates and applying corporate insurance decisions.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Monitoring insurance application requirements and providing quality underwriting decisions in line with insurer guidelines and standards.
* Assessing insurance requests using critical thinking and sound judgement.
* Balancing member experience with insurer requirements in a fast-paced and detail-focused environment.
* Working with real data, financial figures and analysis to support underwriting decisions.

About You
* Demonstrated experience in insurance administration and knowledge of the underwriting process.
* Experience in superannuation and insurance industry
* High level of numeracy and confident to work with figures.
* Ability to guide members through a range of possible solutions.
* Experience supporting team processes
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret policies and guidelines
