Job Opportunity: Strategic HR Expert
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Consultant to provide expert guidance on human resources matters to school leaders and staff across state schools, central, and regional offices.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping the organisation achieve its goals and adapt to change, all while being part of a team with an excellent workplace culture that values collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
* Provide strategic HR advice to school leaders and staff
* Develop and implement comprehensive workforce plans, structures, and processes
* Support organisational change management and build relationships with school leaders and clients
* Assist with recruitment, performance management, and conflict/grievances
* Contribute to the development of HR policies, processes, and systems
* Provide general advice on workplace health and safety, staff wellbeing, and return-to-work programs
Key Requirements:
* Strong background in human resources with extensive knowledge of relevant policies and procedures
* Creative problem-solving skills with ability to think strategically
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with ability to influence stakeholders
* Proactive and adaptable approach to managing change and supporting staff
This is a full-time temporary position commencing as soon as possible until 26 June 2026. Flexible work options are available including working from home two days per week.
