Job Title: Allied Health Assistant
Our organisation is seeking a dedicated and skilled Allied Health Assistant to provide high-quality support services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering one-on-one support and assistance to clients, helping them develop daily living skills, social communication, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement tailored support plans and interventions to address the unique needs and goals of each client.
* Facilitate engaging activities and outings to promote clients' physical, social, and emotional wellbeing.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation to monitor client progress and communicate with families and other support services.
* Collaborate with the wider care team to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to client support.
Requirements:
* Minimum two years of experience working under supervision in a healthcare setting.
* Strong understanding of person-centred approaches and the ability to tailor support to individual needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
* Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs.
* A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation.
