About the Role
LYWA is Hiring Male Support Workers.

As a valued member of a passionate team, you will facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with clients in a proactive environment. You will be supporting individuals with a wide range of needs while actively promoting their skills and abilities.
Responsibilities & Workplace Requirements:
* Feel comfortable in providing high-quality physical and personal care to NDIS participants.
* Maintain a compassionate bedside manner, fostering a supportive environment.
* Must have experience or a strong understanding of supporting individuals with mental health conditions, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and de-escalation skills when needed
* Work independently while ensuring the safety and well-being of participants.
* Must be available for early morning, evening routines, and irregular weekends.

Key Requirements
* Passionate about delivering Person-Centered care – Essential
* Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence – Essential
* Valid Yellow Card / NDIS Workers check – Essential
* Valid Working with Children's Check/Blue Card - Essential
* Valid CPR Certification – Desirable
* Valid First Aid Certificate – Desirable
* Experience with Challenging behaviour – Desirable
* Manual handling/medication/epilepsy/diabetes certification - Desirable
* Open availability – Desirable
* Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care / Community Services or higher - Desirable
