About the role
As Library Programs Delivery Officer, you will contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high‑quality programs and initiatives across our library service and the wider community. In this role, you will support the development, delivery, and promotion of engaging and inclusive programs that spark learning, creativity, and community connection for diverse audiences.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Delivering library programs across multiple branches including Baby Rhyme Time, Story Time, Coding, Robotics, Digital Literacy, and Seniors programs
* Supporting the development and implementation of new initiatives and activities
* Building strong relationships with community members of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds
* Preparing high quality documentation and resources to enhance program delivery and user experience
* Demonstrating a customer focussed approach and strive for continuous improvement

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Associate Diploma of Applied Science (Library Technician) or equivalent qualification and/or relevant experience
* A current Queensland C class driver’s licence
* Working with Children Check – Issue of Blue Card and Positive Notice Letter or Exemption Card
* The ability to be resilient, agile, and a supportive team member
* A passion for community engagement with people from all backgrounds and age groups
* Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
A medical is required with the attributes to undertake a range of manual handling tasks which may include setting up for events, moving trolleys, loading, and unloading vehicles and driving a range of Council’s vehicles.

This is a permanent full-time position with a salary commencing at $85,007 plus 12.5% superannuation.
