Overview
We are looking for a talented and passionate Full Time Chef De Partie to join the PLG team at The Club in Caroline Springs. You'll have the opportunity to manage a designated kitchen section, supervise junior staff, and assist the team with menu development.
The Club is a premier dining complex situated in Caroline Springs and has become a great venue within the community. Offering a family friendly environment, great service and a relaxed atmosphere for all to enjoy. Boasting magnificent modern facilities including a large bistro with a designated kid's area, function room, sports bar and more.

Responsibilities
* Maintaining control and leadership in the kitchen during service times in allocated sections.
* Assist with the induction of new employees when required.
* Maintain professional relationships with external suppliers.
* Prepare and cook menu as per cooking guidelines and set standards.
* Work in conjunction with the head chef to develop and implement a menu.
* Ensure all staff follow safety procedures.
The role you are applying for may be quite fast-paced and require you to complete tasks including but not limited to lifting boxes, kegs or stock, standing for long periods of time, and utilising stairs.
Qualifications
* Hold a Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
* Food Handlers Certificate.
* Experience working in a pub/bistro fast-paced environment.
* Well-versed in all kitchen areas with hands-on experience.
* Ability to follow and give directions when required.
* Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
* Full working rights in Australia.
