Role Description
This is a full-time, community role for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist located in ACT. The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will assess and evaluate patients' needs, create and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborate with families and caregivers, and provide therapeutic interventions. In this role, you will work closely with children to enhance their development and daily life skills, fostering greater independence and improved quality of life. Documentation and reporting of patient progress will also be an integral part of the position.
Qualifications
* Strong background in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, planning, and intervention strategies
* Knowledge and experience in Pediatrics and Rehabilitation practices
* Effective Communication skills to collaborate with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team
* Educational background in Occupational Therapy, Medicine, or a related field
* Relevant licensure or certification as required by governing bodies
* Compassionate approach to patient care and supporting children's developmental needs
* Registration with AHPRA as an occupational therapist or ability to do so is essential.
* Tertiary level qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Drivers Licence essential.
