Electrical Field Specialist
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering project field engineering expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification, safety protocols, technical inspection knowledge, and subcontract coordination.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare Construction Drawings: Develop construction drawings and sketches to ensure accurate representation of project requirements.
* Lead Construction Planning: Oversee the preparation of construction drawings and schedules, as well as design temporary construction facilities and ensure the preparation of ‘as built’ drawings and job plans.
* Electrical Work Packages: Prepare, review, and approve Electrical work packages to ensure compliance with project specifications and procedures.
* Implement Standard Work Processes: Implement Bechtel's Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPPs), project specifications, applicable codes, and drawings to guarantee construction installation requirements are met.
* Quality Inspections: Perform in-progress and final quality and completeness inspections of Electrical and Instrumentation installation to ensure adherence to standards.
* Punch Lists and Disposition: Develop punch lists and monitor completion of punch items, as well as prepare and disposition Request for Information (RFI's), Field Change Documents (FCD's) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
* E&I Design Coordination: Collaborate with design engineering through final disposition to resolve E&I design and constructability issues.
* Closure and Documentation: Resolve and close out vendor and Modyard carryover works, NCRs, and necessary documentations to ensure project closure.
* Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to superintendents, supervisors, and craft professionals to ensure project success.
