Job Title: Studio Coordinator

Overview:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to take ownership of the successful care of our game studio. As a Studio Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage all front-of-house operations, including security, visitor check-in, incoming/outgoing mail.
* Ensure the workplace is kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
* Put away all mail, boxes, and maintain a presentable studio environment.
* Engage in physical labor, such as lifting and building furniture, to contribute to the overall studio setup and maintenance.
* Ensure every morning that the dishwasher is emptied, hand sanitisers are filled, everything in the bathrooms is fully restocked, the fridge is full, the benches are clear and rubbish is in the bins.
* Assist with staff events - planning, organization.
* Create a task list for runners in studio days.
* Organize Airtaskers.
* Coordinate studio repairs, maintenance, and workspace projects.
* Be the OHS Champion and ensure we are always compliant and legally safe.
* Maintain studio security and OHS registers.
* People & Culture Administration, assist with onboarding, offboarding, HR projects.
* Keep kitchen and studio supplies well-stocked.
* Build strong relationships with building vendors, so we can get work done quickly.
* Tours, Onboarding/Off-boarding, inducting new starters to the workspace and being a reliable resource for them.
* Ensure everyone who enters the building signs an NDA and are checked in kindly and efficiently.
* Day 1 desk allocation and setup - collaborating with IT to be completed on the Friday before.
* Managing studio access requirements and FOB distribution and tracking.
* Equip our team with anything they need to work successfully.
* Same day collection of food, staff items, platters & friday drinks ensuring there is a steady supply of cold beverages and food for Friday drinks.
* Administration & Communication - Day-to-day communication in relation to studio updates, events, birthdays, etc.

Skills Required:

* Studio coordination & operations.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently to get the job done without day-to-day direction.
* Highly organised and thrives in a busy working environment.
* Clean freak - we want you to own the studio like it's your pride and joy.
* Extreme discretion. Recognise and understand the need for confidentiality. Be a vault for any information you witness.
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
* Have a can-do with the ability to turn a negative into a positive, no problem is too great.
* Continually look for ways we can do things better, be on the lookout for anything in the studio that might need attending to, fixing, stocking up or improving.
* Comfortable with all forms of start-up communication e.g. Slack, Zoom and able to adapt to new technologies easily.
* Proficiency in Google Suite, curiosity in latest updates and is willing to learn new features and apps.
* The ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks simultaneously and manage competing priorities.
* Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle is required for this role.
