SSA Group is seeking a surveyor to join our client team in Hervey Bay. Our client is a small family-owned company that is expanding their team. This role is perfect for a candidate who is interested in civil engineering and surveying. You’ll be involved in various residential, commercial, and civil infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Conduct field surveys, including topographic, construction set-out, and as-constructed surveys. Use various surveying equipment such as GNSS/GPS, total stations, and data loggers. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy of site works. Process survey data and prepare detailed survey plans and reports using software such as AutoCAD, 12D, or similar. Consult with engineers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met. Maintain accurate records and adhere to safety and quality procedures on-site. About You Degree or Diploma in Surveying or a related field Proven experience in civil construction or engineering surveying (2 years ideal) Proficient in using modern survey equipment and software. Strong diligence and critical thinking skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team. Current driver’s licence (essential) Why Join This Firm?
