Our client is seeking a skilled AI/ML Engineer with Signal Processing experience to contribute to and further enhance their capability. The company is an established, Sydney based defence SME, that design and develop mission-critical products into defence.
You'll combine your expertise in software, machine learning, and signal processing to deliver high-quality solutions for defence programs.
What you'll bring:
- Soft skills: Strong communication (verbal/written), technical documentation, teamwork, and self-management. Able to plan and deliver priorities, adapt to agile/waterfall environments, and take technical ownership.
- Technical skills:
- ML/AI: PyTorch/TensorFlow, Python, data wrangling across text/image/audio/video, and bespoke model training.
- Acoustics/Algorithms: Digital signal/audio/image processing, sensor/hydrophone knowledge, and passive acoustic monitoring.
- Software Engineering: Strong C++/Python, Windows/Linux deployment, Git, Jira/Confluence, and Visual Studio/VS Code.
