Accountant Role
Join a rapidly growing business as an experienced Management Accountant. Our company is seeking a motivated individual to contribute to its finance team.
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded and have strong month-end, compliance and reporting skills. You'll be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
* Assist with month-end close processes across multiple entities
* Prepare management reporting packs and financial dashboards
* BAS preparation, payroll tax, and workers compensation lodgements
* Support budgeting and forecasting cycles in collaboration with operational teams
* Develop and document finance procedures including fixed asset management
* Partner with business owners and operational managers to provide financial insights and reporting to drive profitability
* Assist with project accounting for new operational initiatives
* Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements
* Provide occasional support across AP, AR and payroll functions when required
Key Skills:
* Previous experience in a similar Management Accountant or Finance Manager role within an SME environment
* Strong month-end, compliance and reporting skills
* A hands-on approach and willingness to assist across all areas of finance when required
* Confidence liaising directly with business owners and operational teams
* An interest in contributing to business growth and continuous improvement
* CA/CPA qualified (or studying towards) preferred but not essential
* An interest or background in manufacturing, agriculture or related industries will be highly regarded
