Strategic Finance Leader
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial leadership for our facility management team. This role is critical in delivering high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and management accounting support for maintenance services across the electricity network throughout New Zealand.
The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams to provide accurate financial analysis, ensure compliance with reporting requirements, and support effective decision-making for the contract. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
This permanent, full-time role is based in Lower Hutt and offers the opportunity to contribute to the efficient financial management of essential network services that enhance the everyday lives of New Zealanders.
* Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
* Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and scenario planning.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting to senior management.
* Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong management accounting experience, a customer-centric focus, and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements. You will possess a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or commerce and hold CPA or CA membership or nearing completion.
