In this role, you'll:
Join Transport for NSW's newly formed Prioritasion and Asset Management division and this role will see you be responsibe for the development, governance, and continuous improvement of energy and charging infrastructure standards, including next generation solutions for heavy rail, light rail, Sydney Metro, maritime transport, and rail corridor plant, under delegated technical authority.
You will manage and specify power supply system requirements across all transport modes, covering 25kV AC and DC traction networks, with specialist oversight of tunnel environments in rail and road, complex operational conditions, and associated EMI/EMC performance requirements.
You will support cross modal innovation, strategic harmonisation, and national technical engagement, while improving accountability, performance reporting, and compliance across the Energy Networks & Systems asset custodian role.
The role is pivotal in enhancing team capabilities, addressing complex challenges, and ensuring safety and compliance across infrastructure projects.
This is a permanent role.

About you
You are a passionate engineer looking for an opportunity to drive impactful change that better the lives of the NSW community. You will have demonstrated multimodal experience in electrical, design, and construction. Also, demonstrated experience in developing professional technical documents, specifications, guidelines and government publications to a quality standard.
Ideally you will have experience working for either a transport organisation, an opeator maintainer, electricty supply indusry, or, a technically assured organisation.
