Senior Psychologist Role in Prison Mental Health
The Senior Psychologist is responsible for delivering high-level clinical services and leadership within the multidisciplinary team. This includes delivering forensic mental health care, providing professional leadership and supervision, and contributing to staff training and policy development.
This role requires a strong understanding of forensic mental health principles and practices, with a focus on timely and responsive service provision.
Key responsibilities include:
* Clinical Services Delivery: Delivering high-level clinical and forensic psychology services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention.
* Leadership and Supervision: Providing professional leadership, consultation, and supervision to junior staff members, as well as contributing to staff training and policy development.
