About The RoleAs a Residential Care Worker, you'll offer direct support, care, and guidance to Young People residing in our homes throughout Warrnambool. Our focus is on assisting young individuals who have faced trauma and may present with high and complex needs.Hourly Rate: $34.46 to $40.05 based on SCHADS Award Level 2-3, dependent on qualification and experience.This position involves strengthening rapport with residents by teaching life skills and supporting their social and emotional development. Daily activities may include cooking, taking residents to appointments or sports, school drop-offs, engaging in activities like fishing or arts and crafts, and relaxing with movies. Additionally, you'll handle household duties and complete daily case notes.This dynamic role requires resilience, problem-solving skills, and dedication to making a difference.
