Position Title: Nursing Workforce & Patient Flow Manager

Reporting to the Director Clinical Services the Nursing Workforce and Patient Flow Manager, is a key leadership position within the Clinical and Aged Care Services Directorate. This role is responsible for providing nursing leadership to the Clinical Relief Unit (CRU) and Staff Replacement functions that support workforce across Dhelkaya Health.
The role will support patient flow by providing access to care for patients requiring Acute and Subacute admission. Knowledge of @home, community and aged care services will be key as well as provision of support to ensure these are considered as options for care.
The role will support alignment with Dhelkaya Health's Strategic Priorities and will contribute to achieving operational activity targets in the Clinical Services space.
Responsibilities will include working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in the development and implementation of an Access Plan which will involve reviewing existing admission and discharge principals and ensuring these reflect the vision and values of Dhelkaya Health.
The role will be the key contact for access and patient flow, ensuring patients receive the Right care in the Right place at the Right time.

About you
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
* Previous clinical leadership experience with knowledge of patient flow/access concepts
* Well-developed communications skills
* Demonstrated capability in computer literacy and data analysis
* Knowledge of change management principles and best practice
* A commitment to continuous improvement
