This is an opportunity to work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team who are collaborative, supportive & fun. Joining the team as a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be provided with all the tools, support, and training to set you up to succeed in your career.

Job Description

Join a dynamic, passionate and tight knit Morwell team. You will make a valuable contribution as a Rehabilitation Consultant. This is a great opportunity to work across the South East region including Warragul, Morwell, and nearby areas.

Responsibilities

- Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
- Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
- Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
- Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals and completing a variety of assessments using clinical and discipline-specific skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology
- Full ASORC Membership or Provisional or Full AHPRA registration or eligibility to obtain
- We accept applications if you have completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and can assist in obtaining Associate ASORC membership and supervision to full ASORC Membership
- Experience in Occupational and/or Vocational Rehabilitation is highly desirable
- A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers
- The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers
- Current driver licence and motor vehicle
