GGRS is a national solar PV business which provides specialist services to domestic and commercial customers.
Job Role:
* Lead site surveys where electrical systems are installed.
* Perform general electrical maintenance works.
* Develop electrical installation plans and technical diagrams.
* Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical systems in public spaces and buildings.
* E nsure electrical systems comply with national electrical safety standards and regulations.
* Supervise ongoing electrical system installations and provide technical expertise to teams as needed.
* Analyze technical diagrams and blueprints.
* Complete work orders, record used materials, and submit photos of work completed to the admin team.
* Identify electrical problems and recommend solutions for repairing them.
* Advise management on replacing aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards.
* Conduct general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshoot electrical issues using testing equipment.
* Install, maintain, and repair solar PV, electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
* Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
* Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
* Support staff while ensuring successful delivery of business aspects.
* Develop an understanding of GGRS work and customer needs and circumstances.
* Comply with GGRS policies and procedures, including Health and Safety policies, under the Health and Safety at Work Act.
* Perform any other duties reasonably required for the job's main purpose and business.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* 18th Edition qualification.
* 2391 Test and inspect Level 3 NVQ & AM2 qualification.
* Solar, Battery, Ventilation, EV, SSTS, CompEx experience (desirable).
Essential Skills:
* Completion of electrician apprenticeship, City & Guilds Level 3, or electrician degree from a technical college.
* Experience with circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
* Familiarity with various electrical test equipment.
* Several years' experience working as an electrician and/or experience in the renewable energy field.
* Excellent customer service skills with ability to build positive customer relations.
* Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
* Able to keep clear, timely, accurate data records and share information effectively.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with willingness to reflect upon and develop own practice.
* Excellent digital and data skills, able to work with CRM, MS Office applications, and office equipment.
* Knowledge of and ability to comply with health and safety and safeguarding procedures.

* Ability to travel nationally with a driving license.
