Remedial Massage Therapist (mobile and home visits)
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality therapeutic and remedial massage treatments to aid clients in managing pain, recovering from injury, and improving overall physical well‑being.
* Assess clients' conditions, develop tailored treatment plans, and apply a range of massage techniques to support musculoskeletal health and functional movement.
* Perform therapeutic massage to relieve tension, restore mobility and promote relaxation.
* Maintain accurate treatment records and advise clients on post‑treatment care such as stretching, posture and injury‑prevention strategies.
* Collaborate with physiotherapists and other allied health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
* Uphold the clinic's high standards of hygiene, professionalism and client services.
Qualifications
* Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy or equivalent.
* Current membership with a professional massage association (e.g., AMT, AAMT, MMA, ANTA).
* Minimum 1+ year of experience in remedial massage (preferred).
* Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology and therapeutic techniques.
* Experience working with a range of clients, including those managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions and geriatric care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Professional indemnity insurance.
* Commitment to delivering a high standard of customer service.
* Own car and valid driver's licence.
* Willingness to provide mobile services and in‑house clinic work.
