About the Role
We're seeking an individual to join our team in a culturally significant position that focuses on supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people with mental health, alcohol and other drug, and other social issues.
This role is situated at headspace Tweed Heads, on Bundjalung Country, allowing you to build relationships within the community while working towards improving accessibility to services.
Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification for this position, and we encourage applicants to demonstrate their understanding of factors contributing to positive mental health for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
Key Responsibilities
* Working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people to address mental health concerns.
* Coordinating and facilitating youth programs, events, and activities tailored to meet the needs of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community setting.
