**Position purpose**
Our purpose is to improve the competitiveness of renewable energy technologies and increase the supply of renewable energy through innovation that benefits Australia. We invest in projects to accelerate Australia's shift to affordable, reliable renewable energy. We do this by funding projects and sharing knowledge that drives innovation and commercialisation of renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency and electrification technologies. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Executive Officer ("EO" or "role") will directly assist the CEO and the CEO's Executive Assistant including coordinating and delivering agency-wide initiatives that will help achieve the strategic and operational objectives for the agency.

**Specific responsibilities include**:
- Lead and coordinate drafting of the CEO Report for each Board meeting (approx. 8 meetings per year)
- Input into Weekly All Hands meetings (weekly).
- Primary role coordinating the annual in person All Hands event (annual).
- Prepare the CEO for monthly Advisory Panel meetings (monthly).
- Lead and/or contribute to other ad hoc projects to support the achievement of operational and strategic organisational objectives.
- Monitor emerging and high-priority issues impacting upon ARENA to provide timely advice and assistance.
- Work collaboratively across ARENA and with external stakeholders to ensure priorities are achieved.
- Prepare briefs for upcoming meetings and stakeholder events.
