At the Wangaratta Sports & Aquatic Centre (WSAC), we're looking for a dynamic Health & Fitness Coordinator to lead a high-performing team and drive real outcomes. You'll oversee the delivery of 70+ vibrant group fitness classes each week, while working side-by-side with personal trainers to keep our state-of-the-art gym running at peak performance.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Championing a culture of excellence by motivating, supporting, and developing a passionate health & fitness team.
* Overseeing the delivery and quality of our diverse group fitness program, ensuring classes are fresh, inclusive, and well-attended.
* Working closely with personal trainers and gym staff to ensure a seamless, high-quality member experience on the gym floor.
* Using data, feedback and industry trends to continuously improve programs, drive participation, and grow community engagement.
* Taking the lead on rostering, training, recruitment, and performance development to build a resilient, skilled team.
* Partnering with leadership on marketing, strategic planning, and service innovations that enhance the precinct's reputation.
* Ensuring safety, compliance, and top-tier customer service are embedded in everything we do.
What You Bring:
* Proven experience in the health and fitness industry, with leadership in programming and staff development.
* A passion for health promotion, inclusion, and creating vibrant community spaces.
* Confidence managing rosters, budgets, and systems with a solutions-focused mindset.
* Current qualifications (Cert III in Fitness minimum), First Aid & CPR, and WWCC.
* Bonus if you bring experience in leisure centre operations or local government
