VeiraMal Consulting is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to be a part of our client's business in Shepparton. Our client Australian Independent Rural Retailers Pty LTD, offers a great working environment and a competitive salary for the right candidate.
Responsible for:
* Operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse or yard.
* Inspecting forklifts and ensuring they are in safe working condition by performing routine checks and minor maintenance.
Key Duties:
* Accurately pick and pack customer and branch orders according to picking slips and delivery schedules
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
* Operate forklifts safely to move stock, load/unload trucks, and organise warehouse racking and storage
* Conduct stock replenishment and rotation to maintain accurate inventory levels
* Check orders for accuracy, product quality and ensure correct labelling before dispatch
* Assist with receipting incoming stock, including unloading, checking and storing goods
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment in line with WHS standards
* Report stock discrepancies, damages or safety hazards promptly
* Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet daily dispatch targets
Performance Appraisal: Three months after the starting date, then half yearly or when required.
Qualification & Requirements:
* Current and valid Forklift (LF) Licence – essential advantageous
* Ability to lift and move stock safely and repeatedly throughout the day
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and in a team
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
* Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment – preferred
* Previous picking and packing experience with RF scanners or picking slips –
Remuneration: $68,863.50 – $71,314.72
