We’re looking for a proactive and people-savvy Business Development Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, transactional sales environment.
What you’d be doing in this role
As part of our growing sales team, you’ll help us expand our reach and protect businesses from fraud. You’ll have the chance to dive into a dynamic, high-energy environment where you’ll:
- Partner with one of the largest SDR orgs in Australia to generate new sales opportunities
- Identify and engage potential clients, mainly finance teams (e.g. CFOs, AP Managers)
- Run discovery calls to understand client needs and pain points
- Deliver tailored product demos showing Eftsure’s value in preventing payment fraud
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead to close
- Maintain pipeline and activity in the CRM
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and onboarding
You’re probably a match if
- You thrive working alongside experienced mentors in a role that’s designed to help you grow
- You’re a curious, ambitious, and confident individual who loves a challenge
- You have experience working with CFOs and Heads of Finance, or a strong understanding of financial ecosystems
- Experience working for a SaaS organisation would be ideal
- We’ve also had successful BDMs come from Chartered Accountant/Big 4 consultancy backgrounds
- You’re self-reliant and self-generating, ready to hit the ground running
- You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting and are excited about making an impact
Where and how you can work
Our headquarters is in North Sydney, Australia, but we’re expanding globally with a growing presence in the US and Europe. This is a hybrid role based in North Sydney.
