Administration Officer – Permanent Full Time

* Salary: $81,986 - $87,637 per annum
* Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
* Ref No: 26-074

An exciting opportunity is available for an Administration Officer to join our Building Approvals team. The position would ideally suit a person with a strong customer service focus and experience in a team environment, undertaking a variety of tasks. This is a frontline customer service role where you will be the first point of contact for all building enquiries. You will have a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and be a proficient administrator with sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Your covering letter will need to address the following key criteria:

* Tertiary qualification in administration or equivalent relevant experience.
* Relevant experience in building administration or another similar role.
* High level communication skills and experience in customer service.
* Knowledge of the role of Local Government within the community, and its functions as they relate to building matters.
* Experience in working within a team environment and/or large multidisciplined teams.

Experience in building approvals administrative processes and practices would be highly regarded, however, a positive mindset and a can‐do attitude is critical. Full training in technical aspects can be provided for the right candidate.
