Responsibilities
* Design effective control and automation systems to optimise hospital operations, with energy sensitivity.
* Support, troubleshoot and fault-find existing control systems; design and maintain network and communication protocols in the hospital.
* Engage with teams across hospital buildings on technical requests; coordinate maintenance repairs with the maintenance department.
* Stay abreast of latest technologies and investigate development opportunities to provide new and effective/efficient systems.
What You Will Be Doing In This Role
In this role, you will design effective control and automation systems to optimise hospital operations efficiently and with energy sensitivity. You'll support, troubleshoot and fault-find existing control systems and design and maintain network and communication protocols in the hospital. It's a varied role with on-site engagement and collaboration with our teams while coordinating maintenance activities. You'll stay informed on new technologies to propose improved systems.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a Control Systems Engineer with at least one year of experience in PLC programming.
In Addition
* You'll engage effectively with a diverse range of people.
* You'll readily and easily understand and implement new concepts and systems.
* You'll have experience in Structured Control Language (SCL)/Structured Text and Ladder Logic programming languages.
* You'll have experience in industrial communications and network design, and control systems software design and implementation.
* You'll have experience in electronics design and servicing.
* You'll be motivated, flexible, innovative and keen to make a positive contribution to our team.
