The Role
We are looking for an energetic, driven and hands on back of house manager to lead the back of house operations in our successful store, Ralph Lauren Harbour Town Adelaide. As a BOH Manager you will be responsible for the incoming and outgoing of merchandise are processed in an accurate manner according to company regulations and standards. Supervise the team of stock associates ensuring that work is processed in a timely and efficient manner, whilst supporting the Store Management and developing a dynamic team.
Please note this role is a fixed term Maternity Leave Contract until August 2026.
Responsibilities
Provide on-going training to all Stock Associates
Partner with Store Manager to coach Stock Associates on all performance related issues
Partner with Store Manager on scheduling based on business needs and tasks
Partner with Store Manager to complete shipping/receiving team reviews and development plans
Assist Store Manager in preparing back of house areas for annual inventories
Work with management and store staff throughout the year to focus on inventory accuracy and resolve inventory discrepancies
Monitor IC reports and file claims as necessary on missing/inaccurate shipments
Responsible for organization and standards maintenance of merchandise in the stock room, partnering with the Store Manager
Ensure product is processed and floor ready in a timely manner, including sensors where applicable, properly tagged, and marked down when applicable
Consistently meet requirements of passing grade on store Audit
Stock take and shrinkage results
Sending and receiving stock
Loss prevention measures
Skills and Experience
Retail Management or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred
A genuine love and understanding of our brand
Ability to work well under pressure
Must be detail oriented and organized
Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
Able to coordinate and sort through large delivery sizes
Able to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels of the business
Strong business acumen
