We are seeking an experienced Risk Specialist to join our dynamic team. This critical role is key to guiding and supporting the identification, treatment, and management of risks across various initiatives.
You'll provide expert advisory services, training, and coaching to staff, supporting the uplift of risk management practices and maturity. Working closely with line managers, you'll ensure risk outcomes align with organisational goals. Your deep knowledge, industry experience, and subject matter expertise will be invaluable.
The ideal candidate will drive the discovery, reduction, and monitoring of risks to protect valuable data. They will promote sound risk management, improve understanding and competence in risk, and maintain compliance with policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Risk management expertise
* Deep understanding of data management risk, governance environments, and Australian Privacy laws and regulations
* Demonstrated experience navigating APRA standards and other relevant data/security regulations
* Ability to analyse intricate data, extract actionable insights, formulate recommendations, and communicate complex information clearly
* Skill in fostering strong working relationships, influencing key stakeholders, and managing diverse workloads
