The Role
The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the Financial Controller in the preparation and delivery of financial statements in accordance with ASX/IFRS reporting requirements, along with all month-end accounting activities for the Group. This will include regular ad-hoc project work such as researching accounting standards and technical issues, advising on large Real Estate transactions and driving systems and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities include
:
* Oversee preparation of interim and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and ASX reporting requirements.
* Preparation of Q&A document supporting and detailing amounts in financial statements.
* Researching accounting standards and drafting accounting papers on technical issues.
* Responsible for month end process including timetable, checklist and analytical review of results.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting for designated sector/s
The Successful Candidate:
* Big 4 trained CA
* Strong technical accounting and reporting skills.
* Knowledge of complex legal entity structures and Australian Tax & Accounting standards
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent team leadership, management, and coaching skills.
* Real Estate/Infrastructure Funds & Investment knowledge highly regarded,
