Senior Accountant | Business Services & Tax
An established and growing accounting and advisory firm is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join its Business Services & Tax team Brisbane.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio including privately owned businesses, family groups, high-net-worth individuals and emerging enterprises across a variety of industries. You will gain exposure to both compliance and advisory work while working closely with experienced Managers, Directors and Partners.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
* Prepare and review Business Activity Statements (BAS), IAS and other compliance obligations.
* Assist clients with taxation, accounting and business-related queries.
* Manage client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
* Support Managers and Partners in delivering tax planning and advisory projects.
* Analyse financial information and provide meaningful insights to clients.
* Assist with workflow management and meeting client deadlines.
* Mentor and support junior team members where required.
About You
* 3-6+ years of experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm.
* CA or CPA qualified, or nearing completion.
* Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards.
* Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for a range of entities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
