Our team also works closely with regional colleagues across the CEE and cooperates with colleagues in the wider EMEA region.QualificationsEXPERIENCENecessary:Technical Expertise: Proven experience with commercial building technical due diligence, energy building optimization, etc.
We are looking for someone who can oversee the whole process of audit, energy concept development, economic return analysis, cost-saving strategies, design management, and end-to-end implementation.
We do not expect the expert to execute all these by him/herself, but to be able to subcontract other relevant experts for selected parts.Project and Team Management: Prior experience liaising with subcontractors, the client, and stakeholders.
Prior experience delivering in a team and delegating work to junior colleagues.Legislative Knowledge: Understanding the current EU legislative landscape regarding energy (namely EPBD4) and sustainability (EU Taxonomy) and willingness to keep up with the changes.Advantage:Licensure: Current or potential to obtain a license as an energy specialist in the next 4-6 months as per Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade requirements Colliers can sponsor your exams to obtain the permit.Green Building Certification Knowledge: Experience providing technical services as part of or for green building certifications (BREEAM and LEED).EDUCATION and SKILLSEducation: A technical degree from a Czech Technical University (CVUT) in Civil Engineering: Environmental Engineering, Building Structural Engineering or Planning, Implementation and Operations of Structures, or similar from a different university (civil and MEP works are the key knowledge).Language: Working proficiency in both Czech and English.Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze technical documentation and data and generate actionable insights for improving building performance.
Proactive approach in finding improvement solutions.
A lot of the projects will be refurbishments of historic buildings, therefore we are looking for a person with a drive to find solutions in these limited conditions.Technical design: Ability to design energy efficiency solutions (passive and active), including the determination of the measures' economic return.
