About the role

The Finance Analyst will manage and support a suite of high impact projects designed to strengthen financial reporting, financial governance, revenue integrity, and compliance frameworks across NSW Health.
This role will primarily require strong project management capability, with a focus on coordination, planning, stakeholder management, and structured delivery rather than in depth technical financial review.
This temporary role will operate through to 30 June 2026 and will work closely with Director, Financial Compliance and Director, Financial Accounting.
Crown Clerk11/12, starting salary from $149,739 - $173,174 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week, work location- 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards.

What you\'ll be doing
The successful applicant will work closely with the Directors and key stakeholders to support core deliverables, including:
* Project planning and governance - developing project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk registers to support structured and transparent delivery.
* Stakeholder engagement and coordination - facilitating meetings, workshops, and consultations across NSW Health organisations to gather insights, test ideas, and drive alignment.
* Progress tracking and reporting - preparing status updates, dashboards, briefings, and executive papers to support oversight and decision making.
* Issues and risk management - identifying barriers, dependencies, and risks, and working proactively with stakeholders to support resolution.
* Change and communication support - assisting with training materials, communications plans, and implementation activities to support adoption of new processes and frameworks.
* General project management assistance - providing flexible support across multiple initiatives as required by the Directors.
