DSY has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join an international manufacturing Group which has experienced sustained growth throughout the Asia-Pacific region in recent years.
Reporting to the Finance Manager this is a hands‑on role where you will have responsibility for managing the end‑to‑end Singapore accounting processes including the handling of AP & AR transactions to local and Group financial reporting and management reporting and analysis.
What you'll do
* Manage end to end Singapore accounting processes including local and group financial and compliance reporting and other external and internal deadlines
* AP data entry, banking payments, A/R invoicing, bank reconciliations, GL reconciliations, journal preparation and postings and other transactional data processing
* Analyse variances in monthly P&L and Balance Sheet figures and clearly communicate in writing and via direct online conversations and presentations with Singapore and Australian
* Forecasting and budgeting accumulate data from multiple sources and engage stakeholder 'buy in' to the process
What you'll need
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
* CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA fully qualified or part-qualified (and still studying)
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position
* Previous exposure to managing the accounting processes of an Asia‑Pacific offshore subsidiary preferred
* Experience driving local and group audits and partnering with business advisors including 'Big 4' to deliver targeted outcomes
* Ability to prioritise workload, work independently and be flexible to support other parts of the finance team with a variety of local tasks
* Willing to travel to Singapore biannually
* Strong communications skills
