About the role
Casual hours are scheduled from Monday to Thursday, 6am – 2:30pm, and Friday, 6am – 12:30pm.
A full-time position is available for the right candidate.
Location: Eddington (40 mins from Bendigo & 1 hour from Ballarat).
Onsite parking is available.
Start date: as soon as possible.
We are seeking a production worker responsible for operating machines and performing routine tasks to mix, mill, and treat grains and by-products to produce animal feed, ensuring all quality standards are met.
Key responsibilities include:
Inspecting materials to ensure they meet quality standards before production.
Filling, sealing, labelling, printing, packing, and palletising finished products.
Assisting with cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
Supporting stocktake activities as required.
Reporting production issues and malfunctions to the Production Manager.
Assisting with other tasks necessary for producing and loading finished products.
Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety policies and practices.
Key skills & experience needed for the role:
Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.
Forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory.
Dependability.
Good time management skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to operate production line equipment.
