Our People team is responsible for managing and enhancing all aspects of human resources and employee experience. Our team oversees talent acquisition, including recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new hires, ensuring that the Firm attracts and retains top legal talent and business services professionals. We develop and implement HR policies, manage employee relations, and administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure a fair and supportive work environment. Additionally, the People team focuses on training, professional development, work allocation, mobility and fostering a positive workplace culture. We also handle performance management, employee engagement, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. Through our comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives, the People team ensures that the Firm’s workforce around the world is motivated, skilled and mobilized to deliver on the Firm’s objectives. The APAC Recruitment and Early Careers team is responsible for the attraction, recruitment and management of early careers programs, as well as the recruitment of experienced talent (legal and business services) across our APAC offices. The team collaborates with the People team, and the wider network, to ensure we attract the best talent and is supported by a Shared Services team based in Manila. We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor who will be directly responsible for supporting business services and legal recruitment in Melbourne and Sydney to ensure a high quality, consistent stakeholder and candidate experience. As a part of the APAC team, this varied and operational role will also provide support across our APAC offices, contributing to building best practice, proactive sourcing of talent and promoting the Firm employer brand. Key responsibilities include: Partner with senior team members to deliver end-to-end lateral recruitment across legal and business services functions. Take ownership of the recruitment lifecycle for business services roles and support sourcing for hard to fill roles across our APAC offices where required. Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and candidates, providing credible and timely advice. Drive diverse sourcing strategies, through direct sourcing, employee referrals, networking, advertising, LinkedIn and agency partnerships. Conduct screening interviews with potential candidates to assess suitability for current and future opportunities. Support managing our agency PSL and engagement, managing our terms of business and procurement processes. Collaborate with the Shared Services team who handles interview scheduling, ensuring smooth and timely coordination of interview processes. Manage candidate pre-boarding including reference and conflicts checks. Work closely with HR Advisors to ensure a seamless transition from offer acceptance to day one at the Firm. Act as a key user and champion for our global recruitment system (Workday) ensuring best practice and effective system use. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records in Workday, ensuring real-time visibility of recruitment activity. Support recruitment reporting, analytics, and market intelligence activities, including salary benchmarking and competitor analysis. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, promoting hiring best practices and effective agency management across the region. Act as a brand ambassador for the Firm, ensuring representation aligned with Firm values and best practices. Skills and experience required: Strong interest for talent acquisition and working in a collaborative, fast paced environment. 2-4 years experience in an agency or in-house recruitment team. Experience in professional services is preferred, but not essential. Working knowledge of recruitment systems, Workday is preferred. A creative approach to candidate sourcing, with experience in using direct recruitment tools (i.e LinkedIn Recruiter, Pirical ). Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build both internal and external relationships at all seniority levels. Excellent candidate management skills. Demonstrates commercial awareness and creative problem-solving in recruitment decisions. Able to work autonomously. Handles pressured situations calmly and with care. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities often of an urgent nature. Strong attention to detail, taking pride in your work.
