Job Description
The Technical Officer plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the farm enterprises and the implementation of the farm development plan and monthly reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the instruction and supervision of groups of students in a workplace environment
* Maintaining enterprises on the farm, which include livestock management, cropping, mechanics and general maintenance items as they occur
* Assisting in the demonstration of agricultural education and training programs, as directed by the Farm Teacher
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful applicant will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and must be flexible with working hours, as some weekend work may be required.
Applicants should also have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and have a commitment to providing high-quality services to students and the wider community.
