Executive leader - building policy

About the Role

The Executive Director will lead and manage building-related policy areas for the Department. This includes developing and administering building-related legislation, as well as researching and advising on industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide strategic leadership to Building Policy, demonstrating public service values and encouraging continuous improvement.
* Support the Assistant Director-General in providing strategic advice and leadership on building legislation, codes, policy, and standards.
* Promote a high-performance workplace culture consistent with departmental values.
* Maintain effective monitoring and reporting protocols to ensure service delivery aligns with Divisional and whole-of-government priorities.
