Job Overview

We are seeking a results-driven
Country Manager (Australia)
to lead our business expansion in the Australian market, with a core focus on our industrial connection, EV charging gun, and energy storage connector product lines. You will be responsible for end-to-end business operations, sales growth, customer relationship management, and team leadership, while building a competitive market position against global leaders such as Amphenol, Phoenix Contact, Weidmüller, and WAGO.

Core Requirements

1. Mandatory Professional Background
: Minimum 2+ years of proven work experience at
Phoenix Contact, Weidmüller, or WAGO
in industrial connectivity, EV charging, or energy storage sectors. Relevant experience in product sales, key account management, or regional business leadership is preferred.
2. Minimum Work Experience
: 2+ years in a relevant commercial/leadership role within the target industry; experience in the Australian industrial, EV infrastructure, or renewable energy markets is a strong plus.
3. Market & Customer Expertise (Peer Benchmark Requirements)
:

4. In-depth knowledge of the Australian industrial connectivity, EV charging, and energy storage markets, including key customers, channel partners, regulatory frameworks, and industry trends.

5. Established network of key accounts, distributors, EPC contractors, and industry stakeholders in Australia.
6. Track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies, driving sales revenue growth, and expanding market share in the target segments.

7. Leadership & Business Acumen
:

8. Strong leadership skills to build, manage, and motivate a local team (sales, technical support, channel management).

9. Proven ability in P&L management, budget planning, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation.
10. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets and business KPIs.

11. Technical & Communication Skills
:

12. Solid technical understanding of industrial connectors, EV charging systems, and energy storage solutions; ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory); Mandarin Chinese is a valuable plus for cross-border collaboration.
14. Proficiency in using CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and other business software.

17. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

19. Willingness to travel within Australia and occasionally to China for business meetings.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement the Australia country-specific business plan aligned with the company's APAC regional strategy, focusing on sales growth, market penetration, and brand building.
* Lead the local sales team to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with key accounts and channel partners.
* Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes; provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to the regional leadership team.
* Oversee the local P&L, budget, and resource allocation to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with the headquarter's product, R&D, and marketing teams to launch new products and execute marketing campaigns in the Australian market.
* Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
