As our Research and Development Chemist, you will develop new and improved products that will help our business move forward with innovative and sustainable solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing new and improved products required by the business units.
2. Supporting manufacturing scale-up of new products until successful.
3. Performing sample preparation, testing, and applications.
4. Operating laboratory manufacturing and testing equipment, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
5. Working with and developing team members' knowledge and abilities in the laboratory.
Have You Got What We're Looking For?
* 5 years of experience in Research and Development in a laboratory environment, ideally in the Paint/Coatings industry or a related chemical industry.
* Strong analytical skills and logical process work.
* Ability to collaborate with peers, think creatively, and develop new ideas.
* Project management and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with various departments.
