Team Mentorship: Training junior chefs and dish hands on speed, safety, and prep techniques.
Ops Management: Handling stock orders, inventory rotation (FIFO), and maintaining food safety compliance.
Menu Support: Helping the Head Chef test new dishes and manage food costs to keep the business profitable.
Experience: Usually 3+ years in a high-volume kitchen. If you've worked in a fast-paced Asian fusion or Vietnamese spot, you're ahead of the pack.
Vibe Check: You need to stay cool when the "printer doesn't stop" and be willing to work across their various locations if needed.
Leadership: Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between the heat of the kitchen and the front-of-house team.
